Extended Studies Small Groups is a learning opportunity for children with similar interests and/or aptitudes to gather together in a flexible small class setting and investigate a topic/unit in-depth with an extended studies teacher. ESS cluster groups generally shift to a new topic three times per year. Groups are flexible and change depending on the investigation. To ensure student success, participation is based on a specific set of criteria for each topic.
