Special guest readers from throughout the Brighton community read some of their favorite children’s books to students at French Road Elementary School for Read Across America Day on March 6. The event is scheduled around the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

The guest readers included school administrators, principals, Board of Education members, staff members, members of Brighton High School’s Future Teachers Club, and members of the community such as Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle, Brighton Police Chief David Catholdi, and Brighton firefighter Alannah Scardino.
